Course Content: 

  • What is a journal and why do I need it?  

  • When would I use a journal?  

  • What are debits and Credits? How do I identify which way round they go?  

  • Coded something to an incorrect budget heading (Nominal code / Cost Center)  

  • Keyed the incorrect amount or VAT what do I do?  

  • Entered to an incorrect cashbook  

Our consultants will navigate you through the errors and help guide you on how to correct, its designed to give you knowledge on how to handle this on your own should the need arise or help a colleague on their journey.
